I am the Founder, President, and CEO of Rosenzweig Financial Services (RFS), the firm I built in 1979 and guided through more than five decades of growth, innovation, and trusted client service. With RFS now partnering with J3 Wealth to create Stratus Associates, I continue to shape the future of the combined firm with the same dedication that defined my career.

I have served as President of the Estate Planning Council of New York City, New York City Association of Financial Service Advisors (NYCAIFA), New York City Society of Financial Service Professionals (NYCSFSP). I have been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 1980 and a member of Top of the Table (TOT) since 1987. I have also served on the Boards of MDRT’s Top of the Table, the Association for Advanced Life Underwriters (AALU), now called FINSECA, and on the National Board of the Life Institute for Education (LIFE). I served on the Board of Trustees of the American College for 9 years, which ended at the end of 2014, and also served as the President of the Alumni Association for 2012 and 2013. I was also appointed to the American Colleges Foundation Board in 2013, and served as Chairman for a 2-year term ending January 2018. Additionally, the American College asked me to serve as Co-Chair for their 3-year capital campaign, which began in 2018. I was reappointed as a trustee of the American College in  2020 for a 3-year term. My service to the American College continues as President-Elect of the President’s Advisory Council reporting to the President. I was also asked to serve on the SUNY Cortland Campaign Executive Committee Planning Committee in 2018 and did that for several years. I have also served on the board of the Nassau County Community College Foundation Board until early 2018. Currently, I serve as the President of the Greater Boca Raton Estate Planning Council. I also serve on the Board of Trustees of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach, Florida. Additionally, I served as the Chair of the Trustbridge Hospice Foundation Chef Showdown event on November 6th, 2025 at Delaire CC and have agreed to again serve as the Chair for the upcoming Chef Showdown that will be held in November 2026 at Glen Eagle CC.

Over the course of my career, I have won several highly acclaimed industry awards, have been a widely featured speaker, and have served on some of the most prestigious non profit boards, i.e., State of Israel Bonds, the American Cancer Society Manhattan Advisory Board, North Shore Hospital Cardiology Foundation and the Executive Committee of the UJA (United Jewish Appeal), Life Insurance division of NYC.

I am an adventurer and an avid sports fan. I enjoy mountain climbing, scuba diving, golf, running marathons, and watching the New York Knicks, Giants, Yankees, Mets and Rangers. In 2002, I helped create the inaugural Mickey Mantle Family Golf Outing for the American Cancer Society (ACS) in conjunction with the Mickey Mantle Family. In 2004, I was awarded the American Cancer Society Eastern Regions Humanitarian Award and the Mickey Mantle Community Service Award in New York City. In 2005, I was the co-recipient of the “Mickey Mantle Hero Award with Senator Alfonse D’Amato” by the American Cancer Society. I have been happily married to Barbara for many years, have two grown children, two granddaughters, two grandsons, and am happily awaiting the arrival of my fifth grandchild. I currently live in Boca Raton, FL, but raised my family in New York City.

I am a graduate of SUNY Cortland with a BA in New York State History. I’m a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), an Accredited Estate Planner (AEP), and a registered representative of HTK.

Finally, in 2013 I wrote my 1st book titled ‘Regenerating Success’ which was published by the American College, and the 2nd edition was published in 2014. It talks about how my firm developed and shares experiences I have learned throughout my career.

The Qualifying and Life (QL) Member was created by the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). The requirements do not evaluate the quality of services provided and is granted for one year only. All members must apply every year to continue their affiliation with MDRT. To qualify for membership, members must meet specific production/sales requirements, belong to at least one recognized financial or insurance organization, and agree to abide by MDRTs code of ethics.
